Ascar Sudi, B.A.  Program Coordinator

ascar_sudiAscar holds a Bachelor of Arts in Community Development from Daystar University and has also acquired certificates in other fields including Advocacy and policy implementation. She has 3 years of experience in gender and development work. She has experiences in program management, advocacy, and fundraising. Ascar has worked with donors including UNWOMEN; PACK KENYA now ACT, and USAID. She also has experience in project planning, implementation, financial management and co-ordinating of partnership with affiliates and human resource management.

Alexis Shannon, International Development Intern

Alexis is attending Wheaton College in Illinois and is currently studying anthropology and political science.  She will be graduating in the spring of 2020.  Alexis has volunteered with many local non-profits in the Wheaton, IL and Louisville and eastern Kentucky communities.  She graduated high school at Sacred Heart Academy in 2016. Teresa (Tess) Van Houten: International Development Intern

Teresa-TessTeresa is attending Loyola University Chicago’s School of Business and is concentrating in International Business. She is anticipating her degree in the spring of 2019. Prior to college, she attending Grand Rapids Catholic Central high school and graduated in 2015. Tess has volunteered with other local non-profits in the Grand Rapids and Chicago area.
