Originally from Kenya, Fred moved to the U.S. in 1999. He holds an International Business degree from Aquinas College and pursued Healthcare Administration at Grand Valley State University. Fred works at Allina Health in Minnesota and actively participates in community service.

 

His roles include serving on The World Affairs Council of Western Michigan board and co-founding the Refugee Education Center in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Currently, Fred serves on the board of the Immigrant Law Center for Minnesota.

 

Notable recognitions include the 2014, 40 Under Forty business leader by the Grand Rapids Business Journal, the 2015 Henry Dunant Impact Award, and the 2010 Community Champion by the Center for Community Leadership in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
